Thun Bypass North - Proof of relieve effect
With the project Bypass Thun North, the agglomeration of Thun in the north receives an additional river crossing. The municipalities of Thun and Steffisburg will benefit most from this project. The inner city of Thun will be relieved of traffic. This makes it more attractive as a place to shop, work and live. The situation will also improve public transport and non-motorized traffic.
SWISSTRAFFIC has been entrusted by the Civil Engineering Office to carry out a travel time monitoring PREVIOUS - DURING - AFTER the construction phases with BlueScan to demonstrate the relief effect, as well as the traffic conditions (travel times) of motorized individual traffic.
