Traffic congestion monitoring A6 (FEDRO)

Due to the potential of Bluetooth detection for travel time measurement, the FEDRO wants to use the BlueScan technology to measure travel times on different motorway sections of the A6. Through a detailed evaluation and analysis of travel times, the congestion frequency and the duration of congestion were recorded on different sections of the A6. For this purpose, a total 6 measuring points were installed between Muri and Thun-South. The data regarding the duration and frequency of congestions have been evaluated over a time period of 3 months.
