Traffic congestion monitoring A14 (FEDRO)

The Federal Roads Office (FEDRO) would like to introduce a velocity harmonization and hazard warning as a fast track measurement on the motorway A14 between Lucerne and Zug. Against this backdrop, the FEDRO wants to carry out a congestion monitoring on the mentioned road section before the installation of these measures in order to have a pre-analysis for comparison value. For this purpose SWISSTRAFFIC AG carries out travel time measurements on A14 section between Emmen-South and the Rütihof junction. This is done with a total of 5 BlueScan monitoring sites which measure the vehicles' travel times.
