Travel times + congestion lengths on A1
State-of-the-art 9 megapixel license plate recognition cameras were used, which can simultaneously detect 3 lanes at speeds of up to 200 km/h, both during day and night time. In order to meet the claim of the FEDRO to ensure a 100% coverage of the vehicles, the cameras were mounted overhead of the motorlanesat night . The lanes had to be blocked by SWISSTRAFFIC with the support of the territorial units.
